Since 2007 The Centre for Regional Arts Practice has been responding to issues and advocacy for regional artist and art. Founded by Victoria Cooper and Doug Spowart during an artist in residence at Arthur Boyd’s Bundanon the most visible aspect of the Centre’s activities has been their Artists Survey Books.
Cooper and Spowart have attended or participated events, activities and surveys conducted by Arts Queensland, Artslink Queensland, Toowoomba Regional Council and Regional Arts Australia. Some of these events have been recorded on the Cooper+Spowart Blog <wotwedid.wordpress.com>
This blog will concentrate activity specifically of regional arts issues, reviews and commentaries – some of which may be re-posted from the WOTWEDID blog.
